1: Pixar-Inspired Short Story
My role: Director, character designer and modeler, storyboard creator, rigging, character animator, hair sim, lighting, rendering, textures, shading, compositor, teacher
This was a massive team project (started Aug 2019-2020) that I did with friends on my high school robotics team. They contributed many of the background and environment models, collaborated on music, story, the animated scenes. I switched from Maya and self-learned Blender to create this animation, and now I am comfortable doing
many complicated tasks in Blender.
I also learned a lot about character movement, with some scenes animated based on recordings of myself.

2: 3D Safety Animation
As part of FRC Robotics Team 846, we are tasked each year to create a 40 second safety animation.
2019 Prompt:
"Your mission, and failure is NOT an option, is to identify one or more potential risks to safety, including hand injuries, that you may encounter during your trip into Deep Space. Demonstrate practical and innovative solutions to mitigate these risks and ensure the achievement of your goals."

Theme: Space
To create this, I directed a 7 week animation workshop to teach rookies and after working together on it for a month, it has all come together. Completely high school student-designed, composed, sung, and animated, we used high-level tools such as Autodesk Maya, After Effects, and Audacity.
